Jody Tjan (“Jody Tjan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit jodytjan.com (the “Website”), contact us, subscribe to communications, book or purchase services, enroll in the Jody Tjan System of Style Academy, submit questionnaires or photographs, attend virtual sessions, or otherwise interact with us.
By using the Website or providing personal information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

Academy and styling information, including your goals, lifestyle, learning preferences, wardrobe needs, clothing sizes, body measurements, body-shape and silhouette information, Kibbe-related assessment information, shopping experiences, budget preferences, and questionnaire responses.
Photographs and files, including outfit photographs and front, side, and back photographs submitted for body-shape, fit, silhouette, wardrobe, or personal-style education and recommendations.
Communications, including emails, inquiries, feedback, reviews, testimonial submissions, and customer-service messages.
Marketing preferences, including whether you have voluntarily chosen to receive newsletters, business updates, announcements, or promotional emails.
We do not use submitted photographs or body measurements for facial recognition, biometric identification, or identity verification.
Payment Information
Debit- and credit-card information is collected and processed by Stripe and/or Squarespace Payments. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number. Payment providers may collect billing information, transaction details, device information, and information used for fraud prevention under their own privacy policies.

When you visit the Website, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, dates and times of visits, interactions with the Website, and cookie or similar-technology identifiers.

Submitting a contact or business-inquiry form does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.
We will not use photographs, measurements, questionnaire responses, or other materials submitted for private styling or Academy services in advertising, social media, teaching examples, public case studies, or other promotional materials without your separate, express permission.

We use MailerLite to manage newsletter subscriptions, subscriber lists, email campaigns, and related email analytics.
You will receive marketing emails only if you have voluntarily subscribed or otherwise provided legally valid permission. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in an email.
Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent us from sending necessary transactional or service-related communications concerning an active booking, purchase, course, consultation, or account.
Responding directly to a business inquiry is not the same as adding the sender to a newsletter or general marketing list.
4. Cookies and Analytics
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some cookies are necessary for security, navigation, checkout, scheduling, account access, and other essential Website functions. Because client photographs, body measurements, and assessment materials are more sensitive than ordinary contact information, we limit access to them and retain them only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purchased service, related follow-up, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or another legitimate business or legal purpose.
When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information.
However, no website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please do not submit information that we have not requested.

Individuals under 18 may not purchase, enroll in, or participate in our paid services.
