The Architecture of Personal Style

Understanding Your Body Shapes, Your Style

Foundation Studies establish the knowledge upon which your entire style education is built.

Long before your private session begins, I carefully review your questionnaire, submitted photographs, body measurements, and wardrobe before preparing your Foundation presentation based on everything you’ve shared with me.

Through personalized assessment and private instruction, you’ll develop a clear understanding of your silhouette, Kibbe Image Identity, proportions, and how clothing interacts with your body.

This is where you begin learning to see yourself—and clothing—with greater clarity.

What You’ll Experience

Concepts introduced during your private session are explored through guided wardrobe exercises before being reinforced through independent Field Study.

Your Field Study includes shopping your own wardrobe and completing the Academy’s signature No-Buy Shopping Spree in physical stores, not online. Every outfit tried on must be photographed for your personalized Final Review.

Outcome

By the end of Foundation Studies, you’ll understand the physical and visual foundation upon which your personal style is built and be fully prepared to begin Semester One.

Successful completion of Foundation Studies is required before progressing into Semester One.
